50 Things To Do This Year

50 Things To Do This Year (well the remainder of the year)

I was inspired to create this list because of http://leoniedawson.com/my-2013-goals-dreams-are-they-coming-true/

She wrote 100 Goals for the year but since I started mid May I decided to go with 50.

  1. Work on Garden and plant vegetables * planted herbs and garlic
  2. Yoga at least 4 x a week *
  3. Go to Witchcamp *
  4. Go to Spirits of the Earth Festival  *
  5. Celebrate the full moons * I would like to do more
  6. Go to Starbucks by myself *
  7. Plan a party for Sue Hodgson *
  8. Make beautiful art  *
  9. Write blog posts weekly
  10. Look at finances to see bottom line
  11. Put new roof on house  *
  12. Go kayaking with my brother Cory
  13. Belong to communities of women *
  14. Plan a trip with Pearl for Jan or Feb 2014
  15. Organize fabric
  16. Do some fabric art * this weekend
  17. Go for more walks * ongoing
  18. Eat healthy as a lifestyle – eat raw and organic *
  19. Get a newer car
  20. Get one or two ongoing clients
  21. Create a 6 week group course * I offer an 8 week group in my full time work
  22. Work on a project – something to offer or sell
  23. Celebrate the pagan festivals
  24. Get my bike fixed * Thank you Shannon
  25. Go for bike rides * went on a few but want many more
  26. See my granddaughter every 2 – 3 weeks * yes, she is the love of my life and her new sister or brother will be here soon
  27. Spray paint my stone pillars
  28. Get mirror hung on fence * with the help of my sister, Tracy
  29. Listen and comment on others – people and blogs * Somewhat, could do better
  30. Plan for a Wild Women Weekend with friends for the future * almost happened, maybe next year
  31. Make effort to be connected with friends and family * always important to me
  32. Have a family gathering at my house
  33. Have a girls birthday party at my house
  34. Have a girls night in the Grotto *
  35. Go for a morning or afternoon bike ride and take lunch and my journal
  36. Buy a decoration for the wall on my house
  37. Design new garden for front yard * somewhat
  38. Have fresh flowers in the house more often
  39. Fix Helayna’s quilt and add the tag showing when it was made and signed by me *
  40. Paint small door on garage
  41. Paint front door on house
  42. Put sealer on front porch
  43. Hang mirror in goddess studio * Again with the help of my sister
  44. Buy a chair for my living room * from neighbours garage sale $10.
  45. Attend a women’s retreat weekend
  46. Burn all of the brush from trees that were taken out *
  47. Take a course in something fun * Went to a six week Writers Circle (which was fun and scary)
  48. Create sacred space * I think this is something that just happens naturally
  49. Touch nature daily
  50. Do meditation in the back yard as often as possible

You might think this list is ambitious and it is and it isn’t.  There are a lot of things on this list that I am already doing and some have already been achieved.  Some of these goals are so big and dreamy and scary that I am not even sure they are possible but writing them down and sharing them with the world sure does make a difference.

The thing is that some may not happen and other things might appear in their place and that is just okay.  It’s all good and it is what it is.  What are some of your goals for the remainder of the year?
