Your Sacred Home

Our home helps us to be out there in the world because it gives us a place to return to.  It is our safe place, our sacred space.  This is the place we come to, to re-group, re-energize and re-new ourselves for another day.

Our space should be a place of calm, a place of beauty and a place of solitude.

We all want to have lovely spaces and beauty surrounding us.   We also love stuff.  We love art, books, beautiful objects, pretty candles, clothing, craft items, etc.  However, sometimes all of this stuff just leads us into a bigger mess.  If our space is so full of stuff that we can’t find what we need in any given moment then this just leads us to feel stressed out.  Lots of clutter is really just stagnant energy that keeps us stuck and prevents us from feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

If you have limited space then perhaps you need to make some difficult choices about what to keep and what to get rid of.  You get to decide how you want to live your life, no one else!!  You get to choose what you have in your home and what you surround yourself with!!

Do you love being in your home?  If you don’t, what can you do to make it feel more inviting, more peaceful, more comforting, more of who you want to be in the world?

    Great post Kim
I love my home and I find over the years letting go is what keep the energies flowing and if you didn’t use something for a year let it go you will never use it and when you let it go your place will glow.
